A speculative design project regarding the future of work in the year 2035, involving the human-robot relationships. HydroPonics is a game designed for children which relies on collaborative effort to maintain and grow a space colony through hydroponic farming.

The game is designed to spark a conversation. How will the robot-human interaction look in 10 years from now or even 20 years from now?
The game is designed to play with 5-6 children. Each player can decide how they want to play. As one hydroponic pod can be placed at a time, the players quickly realise that operating in such a confined space with limited resources requires collaboration and planning.

The game involves collaborative elements which spark discussions and cooperation. Grow your population and sustain the colony while operating in a confined space overcoming challenges that may arise.
To maintain your own space colony place hydroponic farming pods down in the game board. Each pod has its own stats and traits, be mindful of what to buy and when.

Each placement of a pod is tracked and monitored. Depending on which pod a player puts down and where it is placed the colony statistics will change accordingly.
Provide the colony with oxygen, food and fuel and they will be happy. This allows the population to grow. Fix broken oxygen tanks or electrical fallouts together and see how long you can survive.
